Are You Ready?

Most of us would agree that the world seems to be crazier than ever before. Each and every day we learn about bankrupt nations being forced to implement painful austerity programs. Here in the United States our own so called “elected representatives” refuse to address our own out-of-control spending.  Not only do we have to worry about a slowing global economy, but we need to be on guard against natural disasters, or a new war with Iran, civil wars and violence spreading in the Middle East, fears of global pandemics, or a solar event that could destroy our power grid, not to mention the threat of radiation from the crippled nuclear facility in Japan…It’s enough to make you go mad!  How can you expect to protect your family from all of these horrific events and the civil unrest that would surely follow?

Knowing where to start is half the battle. Learning what you can do should any one of these catastrophic events take place is essential. Simply electing to ignore these threats isn’t the answer. That is why we created SurvivalWeek.com, send out our weekly eMail Dispatch and have created our monthly eNewsmagazine, The Beacon, which focuses on the essential preparations for all likeminded preppers. We have also created the Thinking the Unthinkable series of reports in order to educate you to these many threats gathered on our horizon.  This is our core mission:  wake people up, educate them on the threats, and help get our families and communities prepared!

Admittedly, we have been consumed by these topics for several years now. But our hope is that we are not simply speaking and writing for our own benefit. What are your thoughts and what would you say are your gravest concerns?

Are you aware that many experts believe we are long over due for a major solar event —one that could cripple our technology dependent civilization and leave 9 out of 10 Americans dead?   A devastating electromagnetic pulse (EMP) can result from a massive solar flare or a low yield nuclear detonation cooked off in the atmosphere. Regardless of the source, this threat is real.

If you are not 100% up to speed about this REAL THREAT, then you need to be.

Are you aware of the seriously troubling scenario that is still unfolding in the aftermath of the massive nuclear meltdown that occurred back on March 11, 2011 at the Dai-Ichi Nuclear facility in Fukushima, Japan?  While it’s over five thousand miles away from us, it is not too far away to have catastrophic effects on the entire planet, and naturally has been totally ignored by the mainstream media. The nuclear facility still lays crippled and its spent fuel rod pools were compromised. The situation is so dire, mankind as a species could be facing a massive extinction level event.

Ironically enough, this nuclear disaster in Fukushima points directly to the grave outcome of an EMP event.  If and EMP knocks out the electrical grid, the same type of meltdowns would eventually occur at all other nuclear facilities, creating 400 Chernobyl/Fukushima disasters worldwide.

Surely, you are aware that our beloved country is drowning in debt, which is rising at a staggering rate of $150 million dollar an hour and is now equal to 101.5% of our GDP.   While Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke warned us that our out-of-control Federal spending and borrowing will eventually destroy the country, he failed to mention—a large portion of that debt is owed to the Federal Reserve. The Fed is the single largest holder of US government debt, which is approximately $1.65 trillion.

Amid high unemployment and a devastated real estate market, there have been 439 bank failures since January 2008 in this country. Our “too-big-to-fail” banks haven’t learned the hard lessons of 2008 as banksters on Wall Street continue to take enormous risks or downright steal from us – comfortable in the knowledge that they have our so-called “elected representatives” in Washington and in the White House on their payroll.

Many people suspect the whole American Ponzi scheme may soon be coming down like a house of cards as the international community, and nation after nation scramble to get off the US Dollar as the world's reserve currency. Even some US state legislators are waking up to the real threat of a dollar collapse by adopting laws to accept gold and silver currencies.

Meanwhile, those wishing to cling to power in the United States seem to be equipping themselves with unmanned surveillance drones, high-tech crowd control weapons, armored vehicles, mobile bullet-proof fortifications and stockpiling ammunition at an alarming pace.

Why would the powers-that-be make such preparations if they did not see threats on the horizon?

Why is our government conducting an unprecedented historical assault on our liberty by passing the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA) without a single hearing and the Judiciary Committees waiving jurisdiction allowing for indefinite detention of American citizens, and the suspension of Habeas Corpus—our right to a trial by our peers?  This outrageous piece of treasonous legislation authorizes the President of the United States to take unilateral military action against all nations, organizations, and persons, both domestically and foreign, who are alleged (by the President) to currently or in the past have supported or engaged in hostilities or who have provided aid in support of hostilities against the United States or any of its coalition allies. In other words, the President of the United States, with a simple stroke of a pen, can suspend our Constitution and wage open war against Americans, practically at his whim. Are we Americans a threat to America?

Most Americans would say, “Well, that doesn’t apply to me.” or “I am not a threat to this government. I don’t support terrorism.”

Of course you don’t!

So why does the U.S. military have plans to install a massive network of “Re-Education Camps” in the United States to inter and reeducate American citizens? The shocking revelation that our military has drawn up a 326-page manual on how to inter Americans in these FEMA Reeducation Camps is without precedence.  This makes the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II look like summer camp! These are the policies of oppressive governments like North Korea, not America?!?

Research the material yourself and you will start to recognize the fact that we are witnessing truly horrific revelations about the world around us and the truly outrageous affronts to our Constitution by our own elected government.
